Manche Menschen können nicht mit dem Mund sprechen. Sie haben aber was zu sagen! Hilfen für diese Menschen nennt man: Unterstützte Kommunikation. Manche sagen: UK. Das spricht man: Uhkah.
Menschen mit Behinderungen sollen teilhaben können. Teilhaben heißt: Mitmachen und Entscheidungen treffen können. Sie können Entscheidungen über ihr Leben treffen. Sie können selbst über ihr Leben bestimmen. Sie können so leben können wie Menschen ohne Behinderung.
Dafür brauchen sie Hilfe. Sie sollen die Hilfe bekommen. Vielleicht helfen andere Menschen. Das ist ein Beruf. Diese Hilfe nennt man: Assistenz.
Ich entwickele Oberflächen für Sprachcomputer. Vielleicht ist das ein iPad. Vielleicht ist das ein Computer. Damit können Menschen sprechen. Die Menschen wählen Buchstaben. Die Menschen wählen Wörter. Die Menschen wählen Sätze. Der Sprachcomputer spricht das aus.
Ich programmiere Malprogramme. Damit können Menschen mit dem Computer malen. Sie bewegen die Augen. Eine Kamera erkennt die Bewegungen. Die Augen bewegen die Computermaus. Es heißt: DigitalPainters. Das spricht man: diejietell-peinters.
Ich habe viel zu tun. Sie können mich nicht besuchen. Sie können mich nicht anrufen. Sie können mir eine E-Mail schreiben. Die Adresse ist: info@assistuk.net.
